Saturday Night ... LIVE?

Having taught 4 classes in a row isn't a fun thing to do on Saturdays. Jodie decided that she went to a movie with a girl she worked with. She was trying to get Mochi to go but Mochi didn't want to watch horror film, so Pop was the chosen victim! Well, not really a victim, Pop had mentioned that she wanted to watch this movie earlier so Jodie thought it would be a good idea to go with someone who wanted to watch it already.

Show time was 8.15 pm Pop and Jodie grabbed some drinks and popcorn before rushing into the cinema (they left work around 8.10)

Well, we all know that in Thailand, if it says the show time is at 8.15 it means the "actual" movie will start at 8.30 .. (then why the heck Pop and Jodie hauled arse to the cinema? I have noooo idea!)

Anyway, I should show you the movie they were going to watch, right? Ok here it is

Jodie had seen this movie's commercial for the first time when she went to see "DEAR GALILEO" with the Circus boy .. they both thought the movie (well the commercial, was more like) looked rather "violent" (something along that line) ... and She was thinking to myself.. how scary the movie could possibly be.

The movie turned out to be unexpectedly good. NOT an excellent movie or anything but the way they tired to put the story together was nice. Between you and I ... Jodie said that the movie almost made her cry because she was missing her father (I shouldn't give away the details too much) I thought it was a bit strange ... but coming from Jodie who cried watching a movie like "CANDYMAN" - thought "THE VILLAGE" was a very sad movie and got scared watching "Being John Malcovich"

Having heard that "DEATH HAPPENS" (English title of this movie) reminded her of her father kind of make sense ...

She also mentioned something else too ..

Jodie mentioned that this movie reminded her of The Circus Boy ... because they had seen the commercial together. She didnt tell anyone about this but she told me (see how special I am?)

Sometimes I am unable to understand her ... I guess she sometimes doesn't quite understand herself either.

Anyway, Jodie came home and told her mother about the film and how it made her feel (minus the Circus boy part) She believed she saw a glimpse of smile on her mother's face ... well .. not bad, eh?

Ok, that was on Saturday, Jodie had a great day and now it's Sunday night .. Jodie spent her day at work for an hour and another 4 hours at the dance studio. After dancing she grabbed a quick bite to eat ... a small sized Salad with a burger didn't seem to be a good combination but she had it anyway.

The traffic wasn't bad at all :-) and Jodie's brother rented some movies for her and now they are watching it together.

I should get going too .... thanks for reading!

This is Jeff ... reporting from Jodie's house!
